Chloë, still in diapers at 16 months, stank:

• Robert: We gotta change your poop-butt.
• Chloë: Poobah?

The New Babysitter

I had to get tires, so I dropped Chloë off with the new babysitter.

Snuggie-licious

Out of nowhere in the store:

• Aiden (6): I want a Snuggie.
• Robert: You don't want a Snuggie.
• Aiden: Yes I do. They keep you warm from head to toe.

On Being A "Good Boy"

While driving Aiden (6) to spend the night with friends when Chloë was in the hospital:

• Robert: I want you to do what they say and be a very good boy.
• Aiden: I'll show them how good I can be!

It wasn't really a challenge, but I appreciated the determination none-the-less.

Happy New Year And Thankful For It

Thank you to everyone who prayed for our family (especially for little Chloë) while we were in the hospital. She is doing well now and improving every day - she hit the New Year well.

As you know we "did" Christmas while we were there for 3 days.

Aiden has been about the best big brother anyone can ask for. He has a very sweet heart and was really happy to do whatever it took to help out his sis.

Mom and Dad are just relieved that it's over and she's getting well again...even if we still don't have any clear answers about what was wrong!

God's grace is evident and we did have a Merry Christmas - and our New Year is looking to be very good indeed.
